Guess who's back?? Many people have often asked about the future of the well - known graffiti site WRITEPOWER since the day we've turned the site down. We had several reasons for doing this and one of them was definitely to do something longer lasting than just an internet version. A full color magazine was our goal and since we were working on this project for a while we can proudly say the job is almost done.
For those who are not familiar with the content of writepower.sk, the magazine is focused mainly on illegal stuff /especially trains/ from the Slovakia's capital - BRATISLAVA represented by the city's finest (RCL'S, MUTANTS, etc...) with a few pages mapping Slovakia's scene in general. Written word is also repressented here in shape of one local interview with the active graffiti traveller DAOR, another interview with a Milan subway bomber MOZA and a message of an italian stylekeeper NEOH. Besides steeltrains from Slovakia you can also find here a lot of graffiti tourism by local writers including trains and subways from all over and also a street section consisting of silvers, tags and throw ups. Release is planned soon so stay focused, check the preview and wait for the hottest news from the WRITEPOWER camp!

Stickit will invite artists to design a shirt and copyzine. The artists will vary from all disciplines like graffiti, art, design, illustration and so on.
Every 1st of the month we will add a new shirt and zine to the page.
Our very first artist in this series is Graffiti artist 'SEMS' from Amsterdam. We hung out with the guy while he was tagging some sheets, in no time the place turned into a real mess... but we got what we wanted, a nice drippy SEMS tag for the shirt!

So..you are not amused by graffiti..your not amused by the dirty black and chrome stains on your wall, the quick stupid hand styles on "your" streets and the deep scratches on your door. You like to look at shitty artwork that hangs dead on a white wall in a quiet clean museum, but you don't like an army of millions of kids screaming their heart out with their markers, cans and fingernails in the shitty environment that they live in.
